Our Staff
The experienced staff at Circle Medical Management is committed to providing the highest quality dialysis services. Our nurses, dialysis technicians, dietitians, social workers, and medical staff work together as a team in order to address all the unique and diverse needs and concerns of our patients and their families.
Nurses
At Circle Medical Management, our nurses are fully licensed and certified in the care of patients with kidney failure. They participate in research involved in the development and improvement of dialysis therapies as well as with quality improvement activities with the Renal Network and the Centers for Disease Control.
Our nurses work closely with our nephrologists to assure patients receive their prescribed dialysis care in a safe and compassionate manner. They work with the patient care team to develop, implement and monitor patient care plans, and provide patients with important education.
Dialysis Patient Care Technicians
Circle's dialysis patient care technicians are all nationally certified. The vast majority of our patient care technicians have greater than ten years of experience providing dialysis. They work under the direction of our nursing staff and nephrologists. Our dialysis nurses and patient care technicians are all trained to respond to emergencies and to follow procedures to prevent contamination.
Our nurses and technicians complete ongoing continuing education to assure they are kept up to date with all new technology, standards of care, and regulatory requirements, and are assessed for their competencies on a regular basis.
Dietitians
Our master's prepared dietitians are specially trained in the needs of patients with kidney failure, and are on staff at Rush University Medical Center. The dietitians develop a personal diet plan for each patient, and provide support and education to patients and their families to help them achieve their dietary and nutrition goals.
Social Workers
Our social workers are also master's prepared, and are trained and experienced in the special needs of patients living with chronic disease and the challenges they face. They work closely with patients and families to help adjust to a life on dialysis. Our social workers will listen to patients' fears and concerns and encourage and assist them to live an active, fulfilling life.
Biomedical Specialists
Circle also has trained biomedical specialists to assure safe and effective dialysis equipment and water treatment systems are available at all times to our patients. They implement and enforce all safety and regulatory guidelines.
In addition to our patient care staff we have administrative and financial staff to support the operation of Circle Medical Management.
